- Why are your prices so low?
Goldtex has been committed to offering the best prices since 1976. We still try to live up to that commitment today by giving profits back to the customers in the form of low prices.
- Is everything online also available in store?
Many of the items online are available in store. If you don’t see it in our store, you can ask a sales associate if we have it at our online warehouse which is at the same location as the store. If the item is neither in our store or in our online inventory, then we would have to order it for you. This could take up to 7 business days. You can always contact firstname.lastname@example.org to ask if something is in stock before coming to the store.
- Is everything in store also available online?
No. There are many items in store which you will not see online.
- Are prices in store the same as prices online?
Generally yes. If you see any discrepancy between the two, please show the cashier the price on your phone and we will adjust the price to the lower. We do have many exclusive promotions which are available in store only.
- Do you offer price match in store?
Yes. Please see the price match section of the website for the price match guidelines. These same guidelines apply in store.
- Do your items include a warranty?
Clothing and shoes do not include a warranty. Most of the other products on our site come with a 1 year warranty. Every brand has it’s own warranty policy. For warranty information on a specific product, please send us an inquiry at email@example.com or visit the brands website and search for it’s warranty policy. That same policy will apply to the product purchased on our site.
- I would like to order more of an item that the quantity which is available?
Not a problem. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll let you know if we can get more of the item for you.
- Can I return an online purchase in store?
Yes. Our in-store return policy applies to online purchase: 1) Returns & exchanges are accepted within 14 business days of the purchase 2) No returns on underwear, socks & bathing suits 3) No returns on breast pumps, breast pump accessories, or any baby feeding items. 4) No returns on Christening & Communion 5) Exchange for size only for Suits & Dresses
- I can’t see the add to cart button?
You need to be on the products “individual product listing page” to see the add to cart button. If you don’t see the button, it means that the product is out of stock or discontinued. Please contact email@example.com to inquire about it.
- Do our car seats comply with Canada’s Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seat Safety (CMVSS) Regulations?
Yes. Every car seat sold on our website or instore meets the CMVSS regulations and has the National Safety Mark on it. It is illegal for Canadian parents and caregivers to import and use car seats which do not comply with Canadian Safety standards.
- I Received a Damaged or Defective product what do I do?
If you have received a damaged or defective product, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for a replacement.
- This item is a gift. Is there an invoice in the package?
No, all invoices are sent electronically via email.
- What are my ordering and payment options?
ONLINE: You can place your order Online by Credit Card or PayPal. The charge will be shown under "Goldtex" for Visa & MasterCard orders. On our order form please be sure to list your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement otherwise the transaction may be denied by our payment processing system.In-Store Pickup: 1) Select the products that you want to purchase by using the "Add to Cart" button. 2) Choose "Proceed to Check Out" when you are done shopping or "Continue Shopping" to add more items. 3) After you push the "Check Out" button you will be able to pick “in-store pickup” as one of your shipping options (step 3 of the checkout process). 4) You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up.
- Are In-Store pick ups available the same day?
Most of our items are available the same day. However, some must be shipped from another location and could take up to 7 business days to arrive. You will be notified by email after the purchase when your items is available for pick up.
- What currency are your prices?
All our prices are in Canadian Funds.
- Will my credit card information be secure?
Yes. We have a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate installed. All payments are processed through PayPal Payment Gateway which offers all buyers unmatched protection and security.
- Why is my credit card being declined?
Credit cards can be declined for many reasons which are determined by the banks computer systems. Some common reasons are: 1) The Billing information doesn’t match the address on your credit card file. 2) Incorrect credit card information (CVV, expiration, credit card number) 3) You have exceeded your credit card limit 4) Security decline: There is a potential fraud alert on your card. If you are sure none of these errors apply to you, you can contact us to look further into the matter.
- Where does Goldtex Ship from?
We ship from Montreal, Canada. Most items ship within 1 business day.
- Why is there no flat rate shipping?
Our products prices are among the lowest in the industry, and in order to keep that low cost model online, our website is programmed to give the biggest shipping discount possible. This ensures that you are always getting the best deal, and the lowest possible shipping rate.
- If I order more than one product, do I receive a shipping discount?
Yes. Our system calculated shipping automatically based on your location and you cart total. The larger your cart total (I.E., the more you buy), the less you must pay for shipping. Exceptions may apply depending on the size and weight of the product you are purchasing.
- How are the products packed?
Our parcels are packaged in an envelope or box. Big box items such as strollers and car seats are shipped in their original boxes.
- Do you ship to my area?
We ship from Montreal Canada, and are set up to ship worldwide. Canadian buyers will receive their parcels the quickest (within 1-7 business days). International shipments can take up to 14 business days to arrive depending on the shipping option you select. Shipping times are indicated in the checkout process.
- Will my package go through customs?
We are owned and operated within Canada. All our parcels are shipped from Canada. There are no duties or customs to pay when ordering within Canada. USA shipments over $200.00 CAD may be subject to import duties. Other international orders may also be subject to import duties. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inform him/herself of extra charges they may possibly have to pay.
- How long will it take to receive my package?
Generally, our packages are shipped and processed within 1 to 3 business days. If you do choose the standard shipping option, you should receive your package within 2-7 business days depending on your area of residence. If your selection is XpressPost, you will receive your package in 1-3 business days if the order was placed before 7:30 a.m. There are no deliveries on weekends and holidays. Bad weather and product availability may cause a delay in the arrival of the package.
- Will you email me tracking information?
All Canadian orders will be given tracking information via email once the order is shipped. International orders shipping via the shipping option “small packets air” do not include tracking information. If you have not received any order status changes within 3 business days, please contact us.
- Can I order a product and ask you to ship it to someone else?
Generally, yes. If the billing address matches the address on the credit card.
- Can I ship to a P.O. box address?
Yes. Except for a few extra-large items like cribs and dressers.
